1.1. resume.lk is an online services platform or all-in-one platform (in short "online services platform") and offers its users at https://resume.lk as well as all subdomains, the quick and easy possibility of creating resumes, in each case based on the data provided by the respective user. resume.lk is operated by Codeworks Technologies (PVT) Ltd.
1.2. The aim of resume.lk is to enable its users, through the use of user-friendly applications and services, as well as through careful use of artificial intelligence (hereinafter "AI"), to create online and easily a modern and visually appealing resume (also "CV" or "curriculum vitae").
1.3. In addition to creating resumes, resume.lk offers its users the ability to create cover letters, use application trackers, design personal websites, and create email signatures.
1.4. resume.lk offers both free and paid services.
1.5. The digital works created by the user through resume.lk's services depend significantly on the information provided by the user and the use of resume.lk's available services, and it is the sole responsibility of each user to use the created works accordingly. Codeworks Technology therefore assumes no warranty that the works created by users through resume.lk will meet the expectations of users, for example in connection with an application process. Users decide independently and on their own responsibility whether and if so how they use the works created via resume.lk and whether they use them, for example in application processes.
1.6. The user is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data provided. In principle, no data will be passed on to third parties. Codeworks Technology is entitled to store content and pass it on to third parties, as far as this is required by law or is necessary and legally permissible according to dutiful discretion, for example to fulfill legal regulations or judicial or official orders.
1.7. All notifications concerning the users will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the respective account or to the user by other legally permissible means.
1.8. Codeworks Technology can change, extend or discontinue the scope of services on the online services platform at any time.
2.1. In order to use resume.lk to its full extent, the user can register on the online services platform.
2.2. A user may only have one account. If it is determined that a user has multiple accounts, Codeworks Technology reserves the right to block all affected accounts, irrevocably delete them, and terminate the user relationship with the affected user with immediate effect.
2.3. In the registration process, the user must provide current, complete and correct information regarding the data requested in the registration form. The user can choose a password and username. Users themselves are solely responsible for keeping their password and account confidential. Users are also solely responsible for all activities on their account.
2.4. The user is obliged to inform Codeworks Technology immediately about any unauthorized use of his account or any other security breach. Codeworks Technology is not liable for damages caused to the user by third parties using his password or account with or without his knowledge.
2.5. There is a possibility that the user may be held liable for losses incurred by Codeworks Technology or another party due to the use of the user's account or password by a third party. It is not allowed to use the account of a third party without their permission.
2.6. Registered users may duly terminate the usage relationship at any time via the online services platform or e-mail to contact@resume.lk (in short "termination").
2.7. After the cancellation, the user's account will be deactivated as soon as possible.
2.8. Upon termination of use or revocation, all personal data provided by the user during registration will be deactivated and stored or deleted in accordance with the applicable legal retention periods. In addition, at the request of the user, all personal data relating to the user that is no longer required to fulfill the business relationship with the user and is not subject to a legal retention period will be permanently deleted. This requires an e-mail with the e-mail address provided during registration and the request for final deletion to contact@resume.lk.
3.1. The use of resume.lk requires a minimum age of 18 years. For users under the age of 18, the consent of a parent or guardian must be obtained who undertakes to comply with these GTC before using resume.lk.
3.2. The use of resume.lk is permitted under the condition that the Applications or Services are not used for purposes that are unlawful or in violation of these General Terms and Conditions.
3.3. The services may not be used in a way that could damage, disable, overload or impair a server used by Codeworks Technology or the networks connected to such a server, or that could impair the use of the services by third parties (such as the use of resume.lk by bots and the like). It is not permitted to gain unauthorized access to services, accounts, computer systems or networks connected to a server used by Codeworks Technology or one of the services by hacking codes, illegally obtaining passwords or other methods. Furthermore, it is not permitted to obtain or attempt to obtain materials or information through means that are not consciously made available through the services.
3.4. In case of violation or suspicion of violation of these general terms and conditions, Codeworks Technology can at any time block access to services, accounts, computer systems or networks of Codeworks Technology or which are used by Codeworks Technology and, if applicable, irrevocably delete corresponding accounts as well as associated data and terminate the user relationship with the respective user with immediate effect.
3.5. The user must immediately report any violations of the obligations listed under point 3 by e-mail to contact@resume.lk.
3.6. Codeworks Technology assumes no liability for the contents published or distributed by the users within the framework of services provided by means of the online services platform.
3.7. The use of the online services platform is permitted exclusively for non-commercial purposes. Any use of the online services platform for commercial purposes without the written consent of Codeworks Technology is expressly prohibited.
